The project entailed the restoration of the historic family homes of the Nehru Family in Allahabad. The residences of Motilal Nehru, Jawaharlal Nehru and Indira Gandhi gave India 3 Prime Ministers. The houses were carefully restored along with the landscape and period rooms between 2012 and 2016 in time for Prime Minister Indira Gandhi’s 100th birth anniversary. In 2017 the permanent exhibition of the Nehru Gallery was opened in Anand Bhavan
