Urban Conservation Guidelines for Heritage Precincts, Mumbai

Formulated streetscape regulations and street furniture guidelines for Dadabhai Naoroji Road, a Grade II – A heritage street. The guidelines and their implementation is the first project of its kind in India. Detailed urban architectural controls, streetscape regulations and street furniture guidelines prepared for Khotachiwadi precinct and Ballard estate. The project also generated a set of recommendations for the provision of better public infrastructure and the possibility of a Business Improvement District.
