Built in the 17th century by the Mughal emperor Jahangir, Shalimar Bagh is one of the most famous Mughal gardens in India. The garden is laid out in four terraces, each representing a different level of paradise, and it is adorned with exquisite water channels, fountains, and meticulously manicured flower beds.
