The project involved the adaptive reuse of a dilapidated tenanted housing block and auto repair workshop into a high end fashion boutique. The building was not a listed heritage structure, but the construction materials proved that it dated to the early 19th century, possibly pre dating the demolition of the fort walls of Mumbai in the 1860s. The pre British period brick and lime plasters were carefully restored and the run down building converted into a vibrant designer store.
