Kunst Kamera

Design for a photographic gallery and installation of historic 19th-century photography from the archives of Kunstamera, the oldest museum in Russia and the 2nd oldest museum in the world. Founded by Peter the Great of Russia, the Kunstamera Museum is the oldest museum in Russia, located across the river from the Hermitage Museum and contains one of the largest archives of historic 19th-century photographs taken on expeditions by Russian explorers and scientists. The installation was designed for the St. Petersburg Museum Biennale.
